Dry Cut

What is a dry cut?

Our method of dry cutting is done tension free. We do not just section the hair and cut it dry in the same manner as if it were wet. We straighten the hair with a flat iron, cutting vertically moving our scissors back and forth, ever so slightly opening and closing them, resulting in a tapered end. This method works on every hair type and texture. Straight, curly, and everything in between. The results are delivered consistently, creatively, and passionately–every time.

Why not cut hair wet?

When hair is wet, it stretches. Wet haircuts require tension. If the tension is uneven when the hair dries – the result will be too. Everyone’s had to have a wet haircut “cleaned up” after the blow dry. That’s why.

What is the result of a dry cut?

A more sculpted, precise shape and look. Resulting in a longer-lasting haircut that looks great every day, requiring minimal effort from you when it comes to styling. Looks great wet, dry, straight, or curly.
