Born in the Philippines, Robert came to this country at the tender age of two. He was introduced to the industry by his Aunt who was a hairdresser. However, it wasn’t until he and Giovanna met that he considered making hairdressing his career. Since marrying 20+ years ago, they have worked side by side. Looking in the same direction as his wife, Robert cuts hair dry. His ability to blonde hair and lighten brunettes is a true expression of his creativity; but it is Robert’s attention to detail that delivers strong shapes that move beautifully, and spot on results – every time.
Giovanna was born into the world of hairdressing, but did not uncover it as her passion until after college and working in NYC. She has been developing her craft for twenty five years, dressing hair in all capacities: theatre, TV, movies, magazines, and salons. It was her relentless quests for perfection that eventually lead her to the “Michelangelo of Hair” legendary John Sahag, and his dry cutting technique. It is her belief that dry cutting delivers a precisely sculpted shape, falling and framing one’s face perfectly – every time.
